2021 Accessible Futures Intensive FAQ

  1. Where will the Intensive take place?

The Accessible Futures Intensive will be a two-day virtual event held June 24–25, 2021, on Zoom and Sundance Co//ab. Selected participants will need to be able to “attend” two 4-hour sessions on both days. Exact hours to be announced.

  1. Will my access needs be met?

The Sundance Institute Operations Team and Outreach & Inclusion Program will work with selected artists in the month leading up to the event to ensure that access needs for participants are met.

  1. How does the Sundance Institute define an “emerging” artist?

Artists must demonstrate a small body of previously completed work, but have yet to complete a long-form of major work in their chosen disciplines, i.e., a feature film or produced episodic work.

  1. Who do I contact with additional questions?

Please contact us at inclusion@sundance.org or (310) 360-1981.

  1. Why do you need my demographic information?

Inclusion is a core component of the Sundance Institute’s values, and we are committed to deepening our service to artists from underrepresented communities and geographic regions. We ask for this information so that we can internally assess our reach and our service to these communities. It is solely for our own internal assessments, to gauge our success in accordance with our values.
